A business plan for Silicon Valley

It's time to work in unison with local government to create and implement a metrics-based  pro-business agenda.

- Johnny Khamis, SVBA President

Our Mission

We are committed to fostering economic prosperity and employment opportunities in our region by advocating for policies that help businesses thrive and lower the cost of living for everyone.

What needs solving

It's too expensive and too hard to live in this county, to raise a family, and to start and grow a business.

The issues that demand attention

  • Onerous regulations

  • Excessive fees

  • Unaffordable prices--from utilities to property ownership.

  • Unsafe environment for running a business and raising a family

Our Strategy

  1. Bring together business groups

Meet with various business group segments (e.g retail, manufacturing, housing developers, etc) to identify problems that government can alleviate.

3. Create advocacy that drives change

Create, advocate, educate, and rally the business community to advocate for the business plan

2. Create a business plan

Based on business group priorities, create an integrated, metrics-driven business plan that identifies achievable objectives with accountability measures.

4. Collaborate with local government

Work with appropriate government and non-profits departments to refine and implement plan objectives and measure its success
